The experienced staff and physicians and staff at Treasure Coast Orthopaedic Associates, PA specializes in attentive patient care for people in the Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, Stuart, and Okeechohee areas of Florida. Our comprehensive team approach to treatment helps ensure our patients are receiving the best orthopaedic care along with the personal attention we are known for. Each therapy session is geared towards optimal results to help our patients return to an active, fulfilling lifestyle with minimal recovery time.
All 3 of our physicians are Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeons with extensive up-to-date training and experience in orthopaedic care.
Our Physicians and Staff Include:
William A. Stolzer M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.A.O.S., has been providing orthopaedic care to the community for over 32 years. He is a graduate of Fordham University and Georgetown University School of Medicine. He did his surgical internship and general surgical residency at Albany Medical Center. He performed his orthopedic surgical residency at Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. Dr. Stolzer also served in the United States Army from 1970-1972. He is very active in the community by volunteering as a team physician for John Carroll High School and Indian River State College. He was also a former Florida Orthopaedic Consultant to the Los Angeles Dodgers and Fort Pierce Jai-Alai Association.
Paul J Mondo, M.D., F.A.A.O.S., joined the practice in 1983. Practices general orthopaedic surgery.
Jeffrey J. Lazarus, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.A.O.S., rejoined the practice in 2006. Practices general orthopaedic surgery.
Michele DiCarlo, PA-C, Keiser College, A.S. in Radiologic Technology. Broward Community College for prerequisites for Physician Assistant Program. Nova Southeastern University, Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.

She has worked as a Physician Assistant for 11 years. She has worked in a multi-specialty group in surgery for 9 years and at the St. Lucie Medical Emergency Room for 2 years. Michele just joined Treasure Coast Orthopaedic Associates, P.A. in July, 2010. She has a great deal of experience in orthopaedics.
Karrie Chapman, has been a Physical Therapist since 2001 after graduating from the University of St. Augustine for Health Science with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Joyce Doyle, received her physical therapy degree in 1994 from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Her emphasis is in manual therapy/corrective exercise approach to the rehab process.
Charlene Hamilton is a Physical Therapy Assistant. She graduated in 2007 from Indian River Community College in Fort Pierce, Florida with a Physical Therapy Assistant Degree and was second in her class. She did her internship with Mobile Physical Therapy and Emerald Health skilled nursing facility in Port St. Lucie, Florida. She has experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, both outpatient and inpatient settings, skilled nursing homes, and home health. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Charlene has done volunteer work with the Special Olympics.
